Higher Statistics is the study of statistics in real life contexts. It focuses on the areas of applying statistical literacy skills to data - sampling, collection, handling and presentation. Through their studies, learners will develop their ability to use statistical techniques in real life situations. This will enable them to assess the likelihood of an occurrence, make accurate predictions based on sound statistical analysis and use statistical software to interpret, critically analyse and draw conclusions.
